HOW KI IS REVOLUTIONIZING CREATIVE DESIGN

With the new Photoshop AI called "Firefly" and the "Generative Fill" feature, Adobe is revolutionizing not only image editing and AI image generation, but visual communication as a whole.

That's because the Generative Fill function is integrated into Photoshop and its use is suitable for everyday use for the first time. The intelligent technology can generate image material, add, expand or remove image content. - And above all, it revolutionizes and accelerates the entire creative image editing process within visual communication. 

Various use cases on social platforms have already shown how easily extremely high-quality manipulations can be generated. We, too, have created three examples: We extended album covers of Nirvana, The Beatles and The Weeknd in all directions and gave the images a new context. Each image example would have taken hours of effort and required years of training just a few weeks ago. And today - with Generative Fill function? Each image was created in about ten minutes. And could be implemented even with rudimentary Photoshop skills. 

What does this mean for our work and our customers? Successful communication thrives on good visuals. But how often is the required image so unavailable, faulty or too expensive to produce. Now "Generative Fill" minimizes time and costs, because hours of "photoshopping" are taken over by the AI with one click within seconds. This allows us to create attractive results for our customers even from unfavorable image material. As an example: an unfavorably cropped photo can be expanded so that the image section fits the desired application exactly - and in the shortest possible time.
