THE FUTURE OF CONTENT MARKETING THROUGH KI

04.09.2023

Twenty years ago, it was the Google search engine; today, it's AI programs like ChatGPT that can amaze us with their novel technologies and unsettle us at the same time. We know from experience: Those who quickly make friends with such tools secure a clear advantage, both in the working world and in their private lives.

As a PR and digital agency, Contcept has been working daily for months with text and image bots based on artificial intelligence algorithms. In order to gather this knowledge in a bundled way, a special project group was set up under the leadership of Géraldine Bohne. The goal is to optimize Contcept's work in various areas with the help of AI and to be able to pass on the knowledge to our customers.

From nutrition plans to job applications

The topic of artificial intelligence is inevitable - and so is ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a voice- and text-based chatbot from the US-based company OpenAI. It has been available to the public since November 2022 and is probably the best-known AI chatbot at the moment. It can answer questions, generate texts, solve math problems and much more. ChatGPT can even generate workout and diet plans, write job applications or tell jokes. But the AI program is by no means perfect: the facts provided by the chatbot are not always correct and, moreover, not necessarily up to date, as only data up to summer 2021 is entered in the program. There are also limits to creativity - only humans have been able to give a text a personal touch, their own style and tonality, an interesting dramaturgy and the vibe of the moment.

Contcept therefore uses ChatGPT on a daily basis as a virtual assistant that helps us provide ideas for mails and press releases, proofread and translate texts. We try to involve the program as much as possible, but media releases are still written by our copywriters and PR specialists to keep the personal touch.

Significant potential for content creation

Advances in the development of AI image generators used to create images, illustrations and layouts are equally impressive. There are now a variety of tools such as Midjourney or Dall-E 2 that can be accessed online. These tools are capable of producing increasingly realistic images that are difficult to distinguish from real photographs. The input is either in the form of text or images. Nevertheless, these tools have weak points, such as unusually shaped hands, too smooth skin or duplicated elements in the image. Nevertheless, the results achieved are already impressive. Precise formulation of the input leads to better results. This opens up considerable potential for content creation.
