Social media, influencers, or traditional media?
A targeted mix of communication across all channels is more important than ever to reach different target groups.
The latest Wemf study shows that traditional media remain a relevant source of information for Swiss people. Local media are particularly popular.
The top positions are occupied by Schweiz am Wochenende (reach: 1 million) and 20 Minuten (reach: 869,000). These are followed by Blick and Tagesanzeiger, as well as regional media such as the Berner Zeitung and Luzerner Zeitung.
Among young readers, 20 Minuten is (unsurprisingly) very popular, but so is the NZZ am Sonntag.
We develop customized communication strategies for our clients that incorporate various channels—social media, influencers, and traditional media—and weight them differently depending on the topic. For example, one topic may focus on an influencer campaign accompanied by media relations. Or vice versa.
